The Meade 10" f/8 ACF Schmidt-Cassegrain utilizes Meade’s award-winning Advanced Coma-Free™ (ACF™) optics and Ultra-High Transmission Coatings (UHTC) for high contrast, sharp images and views. With the appropriate mount, the 10" f/8 is the perfect tool for imaging of small galaxies and planetary nebulae.
The Meade LX850 f/8 telescopes are powerful astrographs when paired with an adequate mount.
The 10" OTA employs an f/8 optical system with diffraction-limited optics and high-contrast baffling that insures crisp, pinpoint imaging to the very edge of the field. The low-expansion oversized primary mirror delivers extra aperture and prevents thermal expansion of the mirror.
