The Telrad Finder Scope makes finding astronomical objects incredibly straightforward, giving a non-magnified view with a series of projected illuminated concentric circles.
In production since the 1970s, the Telrad is the most widely used visual finder in the astronomy world and with good reason. Unlike typical finders, the illuminated concentric circles do not obscure the object you are pointing at. Three projected circles of 4, 2 and 0.5 degrees allow you to star hop effortlessly.
Thanks to its universal mounting base with self-adhesive tape, the Telrad can be installed onto practically any telescope tube from 100mm in diameter. The viewfinder itself separates from the base thanks to two quick release screws. The Telrad is powered by two AA batteries (sold separately).
