The Takahashi FS-60CB is a Fluorite apochromatic doublet refractor which excels as a mobile instrument for visual and photographic use. The air-spaced fluorite doublet has excellent chromatic correction across the visual spectrum. The optional field flatteners and focal reducers transform the FS-60CB into a full-frame compatible widefield astrograph.
The FS-60CB is equipped with a precise rack and pinion focuser designed with imaging in mind. The FS-60CB has a native focal length of 355mm and a focal ratio of f/5.9, making it a versatile instrument for both terrestrial and astronomical use.
A selection of different field correctors are available to suit different applications (sold separately), including a 0.72x reducer and 1.6x extender, which transforms the FS-60CB into the f/10 FS-60Q.
Note: The OTA ONLY variant does not include tube rings or a dovetail bar. For the FS-60CB, you can use the PrimaLuceLab 80mm PLUS tube rings in combination with the PrimaLuceLab 240mm Vixen bar.
